First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jul 31, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether applying local heat to the jaw can reduce pain and fatigue caused by teeth clenching in people with chronic temporomandibular disorder (TMD). Ten adults with TMD will receive heat therapy and report their pain levels daily for 8 days. Researchers will compare their results to a matched group not receiving heat, aiming to identify who benefits most from this simple treatment.
