New hope for heart pump patients with failing valves

Summary
This study is testing a new, less invasive heart valve replacement procedure for patients who have mechanical heart pumps (LVADs) and develop leaky aortic valves. The procedure uses a device called the JenaValve Trilogy system, which is inserted through blood vessels without open-heart surgery. Researchers want to see if this approach is safe and effective for this specific group of high-risk patients who often cannot have traditional surgery.
