Summary

This study tested a 6-week program called Heart Up! that uses text messages and support from nurses and loved ones to help adults with heart disease become more physically active and feel less hopeless. About 224 patients took part. The goal was to see if extra social support could boost motivation and activity levels, which may improve overall health.
