New computer model aims to spot High-Risk heart surgery patients
NCT ID NCT06812624
Summary
This study aimed to create a better tool for predicting which patients are at highest risk during and after heart bypass surgery. Researchers analyzed the medical records of 485 patients who had the surgery. They used a special computer method called 'fuzzy logic' to build a risk model that accounts for complex factors like age, other health conditions, and surgery details.
