NCT ID NCT06609356

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 14 times

Summary

This study looks at whether using an extra medication (an SGLT2 inhibitor) to lower insulin levels can improve heart and blood sugar health in people with type 1 diabetes. Researchers will compare three groups: people with type 1 diabetes, people with a mild genetic form of diabetes (GCK-MODY), and healthy volunteers. The goal is to see if reducing insulin helps blood vessels work better and improves the body's response to insulin.
