Summary
This study tested the safety and effectiveness of a refined heart stent called Xience Sierra in a broad, real-world group of 1,757 patients. It focused on patients with various heart conditions, including many with diabetes or prediabetes, who are at higher risk for future heart problems. The main goal was to see how well the stent prevented serious heart-related events over one and two years.
