New heart stent put to the test in major chinese trial

Summary
This study is testing the safety and effectiveness of a specific drug-coated heart stent (the Medtronic Resolute Onyx) in Chinese patients with blocked coronary arteries. About 591 participants who are eligible for a standard artery-opening procedure (angioplasty) will receive the stent. Researchers will follow patients for 5 years to see how well the stent works and if it causes any problems.
