First seen Jan 04, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study aims to see if a high-sensitivity troponin blood test can better identify people at risk for heart disease during routine health checkups. Researchers will enroll up to 300,000 adults in India and classify them as low, moderate, or high risk based on the test results. The goal is to improve current risk assessments, which often miss early signs of heart muscle stress.
