First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving patients who come to the emergency room with chest pain their heart test results can help them understand their risk of future heart problems. Researchers will have a short conversation with 118 adults in Scotland about their heart health and see if it leads to positive lifestyle changes like better diet or more exercise. The goal is to find a simple way to help people lower their heart disease risk after being sent home from the hospital.
