Summary
This study follows 1,599 people who had their first heart attack to see how the heart's shape and function change over time. Researchers want to understand which patterns of remodeling lead to heart failure. Participants are from several Minnesota counties and are not receiving any experimental treatment—this is an observational study to gather knowledge.
