Summary

This study aimed to understand why people with chronic kidney disease often develop serious heart problems. Researchers used special heart scans (MRI) on 276 patients with kidney disease to look for patterns of heart damage, scarring, and swelling. The goal was to identify the specific heart changes linked to kidney disease to help guide future treatments.
