Summary
This study is testing whether a comprehensive village-based management program can help elderly people with chronic heart conditions live longer and healthier lives. The program combines medication, lifestyle changes, education, and regular heart monitoring for up to 10 years. Researchers will follow 30,000 participants aged 60+ in Qujiang District, China, to see if this approach reduces heart attacks, strokes, hospitalizations, and deaths.
