Blood test alert system aims to stop heart failure before it starts in diabetics
NCT ID NCT06593327
Summary
This study is testing a new system to prevent heart failure in people with type 2 diabetes. It uses a simple blood test and a risk score to identify patients at high risk. When a high risk is found, the system alerts the patient's doctor to start proven preventive medications earlier.
