Summary

This study tested whether a medication called sacubitril/valsartan could prevent heart failure in people with HIV. It involved 39 people with HIV who showed early signs of heart changes on scans but had no symptoms. Participants took either the medication or a placebo for six months to see if it could reduce inflammation and improve heart health.
