Major heart study tests which common drug better prevents shocks and hospital trips

Summary
This study aims to find out which of two commonly used heart failure medications works better for patients who also have an implanted defibrillator. It will follow 2,000 participants for up to 3 years to see which drug leads to fewer defibrillator shocks, fewer hospital visits, and better quality of life. The goal is to provide clearer guidance to doctors on which medication to choose for these patients.
