Summary
This study tests whether a national hospital accreditation program for heart failure care can improve patient outcomes. About 6,240 adults hospitalized with heart failure will be enrolled across multiple hospitals in China. Hospitals are randomly assigned to either the accreditation program or usual care, and patients are followed for 12 months to see if the program reduces deaths and repeat hospital stays.
