This study looks at a device called cardiac contractility modulation (CCM) for people with heart failure. The device is implanted in the chest and sends signals to help the heart pump better. Researchers want to see if it reduces deaths and hospital visits. The study will include 4,200 people who are eligible for Medicare and have heart failure with reduced pumping ability.
