Can a heart pill prevent future hospitalizations after a heart attack?
NCT ID NCT06321094
Summary
This study looked at whether a medication called vericiguat helps people who recently had a heart attack and have weakened heart pumping. Researchers followed 149 patients to see if those taking the drug regularly had fewer hospitalizations for heart failure or deaths from heart problems compared to those who did not take it. They also tracked heart function, blood markers, and quality of life.
