Global watchdog launched for promising heart drug in rare patient group

NCT ID NCT06932081

Summary

This international registry aims to gather real-world information on how a class of drugs called SGLT2 inhibitors is being used in adults born with heart defects. It will track 400 patients who are already prescribed this medication to see how they tolerate it and if it helps improve their heart failure symptoms and outcomes. The study collects data from routine medical records and does not involve any new treatments or interventions for participants.
