Summary

This study is testing if a newer type of stomach acid medicine (tegoprazan) is as good as a standard medicine (rabeprazole) at preventing serious stomach problems like ulcers and bleeding. It involves over 3,000 adults with heart disease who are taking long-term blood thinners, which puts them at high risk for these stomach issues. The goal is to see if the newer drug offers similar protection over 12 months.
