Scientists track silent heart threat in diabetic patients
NCT ID NCT07237685
Summary
This study aims to understand how heart disease develops over time in people with type 2 diabetes. Researchers will follow 1,000 participants who have already had a detailed heart scan, repeating the scan to measure changes in plaque buildup in their arteries. By tracking these changes, they hope to identify which patients are at highest risk for future heart attacks and strokes.
