Summary
This study follows 650 adults who had pneumonia (including COVID-19) to understand why heart problems like stroke or heart attack become more common after lung infections. Researchers will track participants for up to 3 years, measuring heart fitness and watching for major heart events. The goal is to find early clues that could help doctors prevent heart disease in pneumonia survivors.
