First seen Mar 20, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at 100 people who recently had a major heart attack to better understand blood clots that can form in the heart. Using a special PET/MR scan, researchers tracked clot activity in the heart and brain. The goal was to learn how these clots develop and resolve, which could lead to better ways to prevent strokes and other complications.
