Lung cancer surgery may briefly stress the heart, new study shows
NCT ID NCT05094843
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 23 times
Summary
This study looks at how modern, minimally invasive lung cancer surgery affects the heart's electrical signals and stress levels. Researchers will monitor 100 adult patients before, during, and after surgery to see if any heart changes occur and if they are temporary. The goal is to better understand the heart's response to lung cancer surgery, not to test a new treatment.
