Heart surgery breakthrough: finding the best graft for women

NCT ID NCT06179329

Summary

This study compares two different blood vessel grafts used during heart bypass surgery in women. Researchers want to see whether using a vein from the leg (with a special 'no-touch' technique) or an artery from the arm works better for keeping blood flowing to the heart long-term. The study will follow 150 women after their bypass surgery to check graft health and monitor for complications.
