New scan aims to spot heart attacks faster and more accurately

NCT ID NCT05896826

Summary

This study is testing a new, non-invasive scanning method called magnetocardiography (MCG) to see if it can accurately detect and locate heart attacks. Researchers will enroll about 3,800 people, including healthy volunteers and patients with chest pain, to build a computer model that analyzes the MCG scan results. The goal is to create a better tool to help doctors quickly and correctly identify when someone is having a heart attack.
