New scan could see hidden heart attack clots
NCT ID NCT06113510
Summary
This study is testing a new type of heart scan to see if it can detect blood clots inside the heart's arteries. The goal is to better understand what caused a patient's heart attack, as not all heart attacks are caused by clots. Researchers will enroll 80 people who recently had a heart attack to see if this scan can lead to more accurate diagnoses and better-targeted treatments.
