Blood test breakthrough could spot deadly heart disease years earlier

NCT ID NCT07314268

Summary

This study aims to find better ways to detect heart damage from ATTR amyloidosis, a condition where abnormal proteins build up in the heart. Researchers will analyze tiny particles in the blood of 70 people, including those with the disease, those at risk, and healthy individuals, to see if these particles can serve as early warning signs. The goal is to help doctors diagnose the condition sooner, before significant heart damage occurs, to improve patient care.
