Could your hearing reveal early signs of Alzheimer's or Parkinson's?

NCT ID NCT07083089

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looks at hearing in people with early-stage Alzheimer's or Parkinson's disease compared to healthy adults. Researchers want to find out how common certain hearing problems are, especially trouble understanding speech in noisy places even when standard hearing tests are normal. The goal is to learn more about the link between hearing and brain health, not to test a treatment.
