Healthy men test how new cancer drug moves through the body

NCT ID NCT05879991

First seen Nov 01, 2025

Summary

This completed Phase 1 trial enrolled 15 healthy men to understand how the experimental drug zongertinib is absorbed, broken down, and eliminated from the body. In one part, participants took a radioactive oral solution so researchers could track the drug in urine and stool. In another part, they received both a tablet and a tiny intravenous dose to measure how much of the drug reaches the bloodstream. The study was not designed to treat any disease.
