This study looks at a program called Healthy School Recognized Campus, which helps schools in Texas offer more physical activity and nutrition programs. About 900 students in grades 4 through 9 will take part to see if the program improves their health, like body mass index and fruit/vegetable intake. The goal is to prevent heart disease and obesity by encouraging healthy habits early in life.
