This study tested whether using the Healthy Minds Program (HMP) app for 4 weeks can reduce depression symptoms in adults. Over 1,100 people with mild to moderate depression used the app, compared to a group that received only educational materials and a group that received no treatment. The goal was to see if the app's meditation and mindfulness exercises help ease emotional distress.
