Can a headband clear cancer brain fog? new trial seeks answers

NCT ID NCT07173101

Summary

This study is testing whether wearing a special headband with embedded semiconductors can help reduce memory and thinking problems, often called 'chemo brain' or brain fog, in people with breast or gynecological cancers. Researchers will enroll 50 participants who have recently finished chemotherapy and are experiencing cognitive difficulties. In this crossover study, each person will try both a real and a dummy headband for several weeks to see if the device is safe, practical to wear, and helps improve cognitive symptoms.
