New weekly combo aims to control aggressive Head/Neck cancer
NCT ID NCT04858269
Summary
This study is testing a weekly combination of chemotherapy and immunotherapy for people with advanced head and neck cancer that has spread and who cannot take a standard chemotherapy drug called 5-FU. The goal is to see if this weekly schedule helps shrink tumors and control the cancer better than immunotherapy alone. Researchers will enroll about 32 patients to measure how well the treatment works and monitor its side effects.
