Experimental cancer injection trial seeks to shrink tumors

NCT ID NCT06736379

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether directly injecting an experimental treatment called VLPONC-01 into head and neck tumors is safe and can help shrink them. Researchers are enrolling 41 patients with advanced or surgically removable cancers to receive the injections, sometimes combined with an existing immunotherapy drug. The main goal is to check for side effects while also measuring how tumors respond to the treatment.
