Blood test could personalize cancer treatment, reduce chemo side effects
NCT ID NCT05420948
Summary
This study is testing a new approach for treating advanced head and neck cancer that has returned or spread. Researchers want to see if using a simple blood test to measure tumor DNA can help decide when to add short bursts of chemotherapy to standard immunotherapy. The goal is to see if this guided approach works better and is safer than using immunotherapy alone for up to two years.
