New program aims to speed up critical cancer treatment after surgery
NCT ID NCT05793151
Summary
This study is testing whether a patient navigation program called ENDURE helps people with head and neck cancer start their necessary radiation therapy sooner after surgery. It will compare the new program to the usual way patients are scheduled for treatment. The goal is to see if having a dedicated guide helps patients overcome delays and start radiation within the recommended 6-week window.
