Cool cap trial aims to speed up concussion healing for women
NCT ID NCT07303933
Summary
This study is testing whether wearing a cooling cap for 30 minutes a day, five days a week, can help young women recover from a recent concussion. Researchers want to see if the cooling reduces brain inflammation and improves symptoms like memory, attention, sleep, and mood over a 28-day period. The study will compare 16 recently concussed women and 16 healthy women, with half in each group using the cooling cap and the other half not.
