Can eye and balance exercises help athletes recover from concussion?
NCT ID NCT07717528
First seen Jul 21, 2026 · Last updated Jul 22, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study tests whether a structured vestibular rehabilitation program—including eye, balance, and gait exercises—can improve walking and balance in combat athletes (boxing, MMA, karate) aged 18–30 who have persistent symptoms after a concussion. Participants are randomly assigned to either the vestibular program or standard post-concussion care for 8 weeks. The goal is to see if this targeted therapy leads to better functional recovery than usual care alone.
