New diabetes drug HDM1005 enters final testing phase

Summary
This study tests a new medicine called HDM1005 in people with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar is not well controlled by diet and exercise alone. About 240 adults will receive either HDM1005 or a placebo for up to 52 weeks. The main goal is to see if HDM1005 safely lowers blood sugar levels over time.
