New hope for tough cancers: first test of experimental KRAS-Targeting pill

Summary
This is the first human study of an experimental oral medication called HBI-2438 for people with advanced solid tumors that have a specific genetic change called KRAS G12C. The main goals are to find the highest safe dose and understand how the body processes the drug. The study will enroll about 44 adults with cancers like lung, colorectal, or pancreatic cancer who have tried standard treatments without success.
