First seen Nov 21, 2025 · Last updated Jun 11, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study looks at two different methods doctors use to help patients breathe during a cardiac arrest in the hospital. One method uses a tube placed in the windpipe, and the other uses a mask-like device. The goal is to see which approach helps patients survive and breathe on their own sooner. About 1060 adults having a cardiac arrest in the hospital will take part.
