NCT ID NCT07573137

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study will test whether a hard dental splint or a simpler approach (ibuprofen gel plus counseling) works better for jaw joint pain. About 60 adults with TMJ disorders will be randomly assigned to one of the two treatments. Pain levels will be measured after 1 week and 4 weeks to see which option provides more relief.
