Mud pack treatment tested for jaw pain relief

Summary
This study tests whether applying a special mud (peloid) to the jaw and cheek muscles can reduce pain and improve chewing and speaking in people with temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders. Forty adults with jaw pain for at least 4 weeks will receive 20-minute mud treatments five days a week for two weeks. Researchers will measure changes in jaw function, pain levels, and mouth opening at the end of treatment.
