Summary
This study tested a stem cell transplant from half-matched (haploidentical) family donors for people with various blood cancers. The treatment used a reduced-intensity chemotherapy and radiation regimen to prepare the body for the transplant. The goal was to see how many patients remained free of their cancer 18 months after the transplant. The study included 34 participants who were older or had other health conditions.
