First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated Jun 17, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study tested 50 healthy adolescents aged 15-16 to find normal handgrip strength values using a digital device. Participants squeezed the device as hard as possible, and their results were compared across two sessions to check reliability. The goal is to create reference data that can help doctors assess muscle health in other groups, like people with injuries or illnesses.
