First seen Nov 19, 2025 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looks at whether practicing hand sewing can improve the suturing skills of midwifery students when repairing episiotomies. About 83 third-year students who have never had suture training will be randomly assigned to practice hand sewing or not. Their skills will be measured using checklists, self-confidence scales, and anxiety tests to see if the hand sewing practice helps them learn better.
