Summary
This study aimed to better understand hand osteoarthritis by closely observing 300 patients over many years. Participants underwent detailed exams, scans, and questionnaires at the start, then again after 3 and 8 years. The goal was to learn how the disease progresses and what factors predict worse pain or joint damage.
