Gentle hand massage tested to ease dialysis Patients' suffering
NCT ID NCT07253831
Summary
This study is testing whether a gentle hand massage technique called reflexology can help reduce the severe fatigue and anxiety often experienced by patients undergoing regular dialysis treatment. Researchers will compare 104 adult dialysis patients who receive eight short massage sessions during their treatments to patients who receive only their usual care. The goal is to see if this simple, non-drug therapy can improve comfort and well-being for people managing kidney failure.
