Summary
This study follows 1000 hospitalized adults who have experienced acute kidney injury (AKI) to learn how their kidneys recover over time and what factors lead to long-term problems like chronic kidney disease or heart issues. Researchers will also compare them to similar patients without AKI. No new treatments are being tested; the goal is to gather knowledge to improve future care.
